Few things; its not amazing that we are 6-5. Those major injuries occur a before currently streak of 2 losses. Two losses which could easily have been two wins. It didn't happened.
I still strongly believe we will make the playoff, but will we win out in playoff? That's the question. If you ask me, is this year a luck year for us? Id say yes. Texans are overrated, ravens are... you get the picture. Every afc teams now are very beatable. We just have to find a way to win and then we will be okay.
Bottom line, its hard and difficult from where we see, but its very doable. |

DD--IR'd (out first 11-12 games)
Adams--out for awhile, likely
Spence--IR'd
Ta'amu--yeah...next
Rainey--Only solid contributor
Clemons--PS, then to Jags
Paulson--Back-up role player
Frederick--cut
Beachum--backup role player
Take out our 7th Rd picks and we have ONE contributor and likely have swapped the services of our 2nd rd pick for the 1st now...
...hard to replenish talent under those circumstances
And look at last year's 1st 3 Rd picks...not exactly major contributors this year, regardless of the reason.
Just not our year this year. Yes, they might make the playoffs, but considering the lost time of Troy, AB, Deebo, Woodley, and now Ben...
...and subpar play from our starting RB and our #1 WR, it's amazing we're even above .500, honestly.

Honestly there isn't one key loss this year. Yes some players have been injured the majority of the year. But the Steelers have stay the course they don't have the record to prove it. But they are getting healthy it does suck that both of your RTs have gone down to injury. With hopefully Adams ankle injury being less severe then Gilberts.
The Steelers this year have just been bitten by the injury bug and it's hasn't let up. But the Steelers with some key players potentially returning have a chance to make a late season push going into the playoffs.
The Steelers have been to 3 SBs 7 yrs with prodominitately the same roster. Yes it's a older roster, but a roster that knows how to turn it on at the right times.
DeCastro will get time in the starting lineup I believe this season and Adams will return. Paulson has been the #2 TE, Rainey has been a contributor. Beachum has played this season as a 7th round pick. Golden has dressed for games. Alameda has some issues but he's still on the PS, so it's not all a loss. _________________
