If he clears waivers sign him but Sidbury doesnt seem like the coaching staff wants him here and is a clear upgrade |

I don't think he's the type of guy we sign. His attitude reminds me of why we got rid of Ray.
I'd be fine with it though.
Not sure we have the cap?? _________________

Character, attitude or any other reason.... if he can play and we can get production out of him, SIGN HIM UP.
We didn't hit on the ray Edwards signing, maybe this guy can help. ATL needs more pressure on the QB and IF Babin can work, we should take the shot. |

If the Eagles felt they didn't need him, why in the world would we? _________________ Adopt a Falcon: Julio Quintorris Lopez Jones

That's kind of what I'm saying. We're talking about one of the worst defenses in the NFL... _________________

I'm guessing it has something to do with how much they were paying him. They're obviously prepping for a massive rebuild this offseason...
My initial though when I heard he was release was, Sign him up!, but we need to be really careful how much we pay... Also I'm guessing there are a few character issues, and if they're anything like Ray's, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. _________________

since when did any of you actually look at what this guy could do. He's a beast of a pass rusher and would be more than welcome here in Atlanta. He's got 5.5 sacks, 10 QB hits, 20 pressures this season... this would put him in second place on the Falcons for everything but hits... he'd be first there. _________________

He played in a wide 9 for a while though. Think only 2.5 of his sacks came in that system, idk how many pressures and such but that system is made to pressure the QB.
Idk I just don't think he is all that good. I certainly don't think we go after him. How much cap do we have though scar? _________________

For the same exact reason they thought they didn't need Assante who was their best corner We showed out on that deal might as well make it 2 for 2. Look at it this way if Nolan wants him then he is good enough for me as Nolan can get some production from him. _________________

Don't forget Babin had 18 sacks last year. The guy can get to the QB. He played in a traditional 4-3 in Tenn I believe. If the price is right I grab him. Def a super upgrade over kroy. And we won't go deep in the playoffs without a consistent pass rush _________________

He probably wont even get to us on the waiver wire, but if he does clear waivers, he has to be ours. Huge upgrade over what we have, and Nolan will get him into position to do damage. _________________
