Either way a win on Monday Night and the season is still alive. And if there is one team that the Eagles could beat with Nick Foles it's the team with the worst record in the NFC.
Also could be Vinny Curry's coming out party along with Bryce Brown who can show everyone why he was once considered the top flight RB out of HS |
Trent Richardson was ranked 2 spots ahead of BB according to ESPNU150. |
I think it was scout.com and rivals that had Bryce Brown rated higher though |

if we lost to the panthers, I don't think there is a reason to ever play vick again.

Yeah, we can't cut him this season for the cap hit would be outrageous. But within 2 days of the super bowl, he's getting the axe, along with Reid/Mornhinweg/Mudd/Washburn/April/Bell. Can't wait!!

I think especially with the Babin release today, its apparent the FO wants to take a look at the younger players and what we may/may not have for next year, thus it's pretty safe (and sad IMO) to say that Vicks' Eagles career is over.

Ok now we are all on one accord for the end of this year at least.
There is NO reason to play Vick the rest of the season. It hurts both Vick individually as well as the Eagles as a team
The Eagles need to see what they have in Foles. And if they don't see a lot, then the next coach may even decide to bring Vick back until he gets his own guy of the future and use Vick until they develop a QB of the future other than Foles |

Vick's going to end up elsewhere - almost definitely - a team like the Jets will certainly take a shot on Vick as an alternative to Sanchez or the Cardinals will bring him to play Fitzgerald.
Both those options are certainly more attractive to Vick than playing mentor at this point. |

Plus, we don't know what Vick thinks his value is - personally, I would rather reinvest in another area of the team and bring in a stopgap to compete with Foles, get my QB in 2014 (Aaron Murray, please!) if neither works out.
Funny thought, if the Cardinals cut Kolb - think the Eagles bring him back? |
