receiver against Wilson is jammed at the line of scrimmage
SOMEHOW has an affect on the throw from the QB 25 yards down field

Don't bother anymore, it's the same argument vs the same argument.
Once they said that I gave up. | I don't understand why you are so stubborn. This is the 2nd time you have done this. You can't just tell me stats are irrelevant. Until you bring up anything as far as film, metrics, stats or whatever to backup what you have said, you are wrong. _________________

I don't know who's arguing what, but they're both pretty bad.
Wilson has gotten incredibly lucky this year. More than a few times he's gotten beat deep only for the WR to not catch the ball either due to bad throw or drop.
Lankster is raw still. He's not very good, but I think he's a better blitzer. |

Wilson is better than Lankser, but not by as much as the difference in their respective trade values would suggest. _________________

Lankster is diabolical, Wilson isn't good by any means but he's better. _________________

Now today I read how they wanteds Josh Freeman instead and that Rex made the ultimate decision. We'll the Bucs decided to put talent around him and that is why he has excelled in his 4th year. They have drafted players and brought in players to help.
We have drafted only defensive players since rex has been here. All three drafts top picks were on the D's Side.
So Mark has been void of an offensive mind to help him grow and has been handcuffed to not make throws that result in turnovers. That is why you see so many check down's and short completions.
You need to bring in an Offensive minded coach, someone to help mold him into a QB. He has the physical tools, he needs playmakers around him. http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2009msanchez.php |
I totally agree with you. In his first couple of years he showed a lot of potential but not only did they not draft offensive players but thy got rid of the ones he had, either by trade, not signing them or retirement. Braylon, Jones, Cotchery, LT, Woody, Washington, and Brad Smith never adequately replaced.
I also agree with you about neither Wilson or Lankster being very good. It hurts more with Wilson since he was a number one pick. |
