I don't recall anyone saying that
It's gotta be Brooks. This may have been his best game ever |
I do, it was o_O. |
I didn't want to give him a huge contract. But ya, he had a great game today. Still a little bit inconsistent as a pass rusher tho... _________________

I voted Brooks because of the momentum swing and playing lights out. However, I can't state enough how crucial Willis' coverage of Graham was. It wasn't noticeable as much to a casual fan because you barely heard Graham's name, but it was definitely part of the reason we came up with the win. Brees loves to get Graham the ball and he can light up a defense when he gets a little room.
Great game by everyone, though. Love to see all this talent coming to fruition after so many years of.....well, you know. _________________

I would love to have had the option of "The Defense as a whole" because that's who I think won this game. The offense had a miscue or two that prevented points and Special Teams gave the Saints golden field position for their first TD (looking at you, Ginn!). Other than that, Brees had so much pressure...the D just behaved like sharks, swarming and taking a 'bite' at every opportunity! _________________
