I just saw Wade Phillips leave Alan Ball 1 on 1 against Calvin Johnson twice in one drive. #stealing |

I know, but normally he's a backup.
Even pro bowlers has big troubles vs. megatron. Most teams uses 2-3 guys to cover him. Texans often only uses Ball which is.. well, stupid.
- Scandrick wouldn't have as good coverage as Ball vs. Calvin if he was asked to cover him man to man that much.
Not saying that Ball is any good, just that he has had very close coverage so far this game. Not that it keeps Calvin from having a great game anyway without help..
bad gameplan from Wade.

Uh, he's stunk out loud today. The guy is terrible and should not be in the league. CJ is abusing him like a red headed stepchild. _________________

Funny thing is, Ball actually was in position to break up the pass. The football just went about 2-3 inches left of his hand. Hard to bust his balls on that one. But it sure is fun seeing him beat. _________________

Calvin Johnson is the best wide reciever in the league. Ball is a backup who isnt really getting any help. |

I would never wish injury on any player, not even Eli, but I sure wouldn't be sad if someone put a helmet on Suh's knee. _________________

That's a cop out. Ball has proven that he can't play, so it's even more damning on Wade for not protecting him. _________________
