LG and see what happens.
Chris Spencer is a total bum and maybe giving the young guy a shot is not going to get any worse. _________________

Spencer is garbage and was already benched.
I would like to see Brown get a shot or at the least E. Williams who was better than Spencer last season when he played. _________________

Offensive lines the last position group where I want to see somebody from the PS step in to start mid-season. Nobody does it, and with good reason. Every team reaches for vets first. _________________

UDFAs who play in the league have to start somewhere.
E. Williams is my first choice because I am done with Spencer. _________________

Week 2 | The one sack he gave up? His 2nd in 16 games. |

| Spencer and Edwin Williams were both decent last year IMO, but Williams primarily played LG and Spencer primarily played RG. Spencer was pretty bad at LG this year, hence the benching. I personally would prefer to see Williams at LG based on what he did last year. RG and LG are different positions and are not totally interchangeable (for certain players they might be). |

I think Louis could be a decent LG with Spencer at RG but I would not make that move since we need to maintain the little continuity we have. |

Should have known that this was a bad signing from the get go. Rachal sucked last year and for most of his career playing for the 49ers, so I don't know what made anyone think he would have all of a sudden turned it around for the Bears. Just goes to show you how bad of a state that this offensive line is still in.
Pretty sad though that any professional athlete would just leave their team and not swallow their pride after playing like garbage and learning that they were being demoted for it. That's life for you, especially in the NFL. _________________

| Quote: | Bears LG Chilo Rachal (reserve/left squad list) was already back at the Bears' training facility Thursday morning.
That didn't take long. However, according to the Chicago Tribune's Vaughn McClure, Rachal's emotional state remains "very bad." Although Rachal is indeed back with the team, it's unknown when/if he'll be reinstated. He had five days to return after being placed on the list Wednesday. Chris Spencer will be at left guard against the Vikings, and for the foreseeable future. |
Hopefully they tell him to turn right back around and get out. |

There's a BIG difference between giving carries to a UDFA RB and expecting a UDFA OL to not get a QB killed. _________________
