Don't be surprised to see Ware play a little 4-3 either w/ spears in the wing.

The options are limitless....

It's very rare to see this kind of talent on one team.

All we need to do is train the youngins.

hey guys i really like the way our D is gunna like this year.

IMO i think that glenn is being brought in here to compete for the starting NICKLE corner job. nickle corners have to be quick to cover those speedy slot recivers.

i couldnt be any more FOR THIS DEAL WITH GLENN.

i think that he will have some great knowledge for henry and newman. i think that with the help of a pro bowl corner it can only help out our young secondary.

i doubt we move a 5-9 185 pound glenn to safety.

i think that parcells will either get a june 1st cut verteran to play free safety or he feels like justin beriault will be our guy.

to be tottaly honest with the kind of front seven i dont think free safety will be a top prioity.

i think that if u had champ bailey and chris mcalister at corner with roy williams and ed reed at safety it wouldnt matter if u had no pass rush!!!

with our depth in our front 7 would should get great pressure, there should be no excuses to not getting to the QB THIS year.

DALLAS DOOMSDAY DEFENSE IS COMING BACK!

Will we play 4-3 or 3-4? How about this answer? BOTH!

With the depth and versatility that we now possess, we can flex back and forth in either one without any personnel issues. Having options will allow us to adjust our defensive schemes to any opponent we face.

It's really not about a 4-3 or 3-4 or what the starting lineup will be. The cowboys will run so many different personnel packages, it really won't matter. I think being called a "starter" in this years defense won't really carry a whole lot of significance. There's gonna be a lot of mixing and matching among the players in the front 7. It really all depends on matchups and what they anticpate the opposing team running.

4 rookies starting?--we don't want to do that---maybe 1 or 2

im almost certaint the first d snap will look like this

Newman----------------Ware--Ferg--Glover--Ellis--------------------Glenn

--------------------------Singleton--Nygen--Burrnet

--------------------------Williams
------------------------------------------------Henry

FS is a lil wishy washy

I think the opening snap defense will be:

DL: Ellis - Ferguson - Glover - Spears
LB: James - Nguyen - Burnett
Secondary: Henry - Williams - Thornton (I think he'll make the move to FS) - Newman

By the end of the year, I think the defense will look as follows:

DL: Canty - Ferguson - Spears
LB: Thornton - James - Burnett - Ware
Secondary: Henry - Williams - Thornton - Newman

It's tough leaving Dat out of the defense, but I could see BP wanting to add more size and speed to the LB corps.

That 3-4 looks great young big and fast.Dat is
going to be phased out this season I agree Parcells
just doesnt like his size.If the pups can play they
will be on the field. If not we still have Dat,Ellis, and
Glover around as insurance policies.

Guys you are missing the whole point. Spears could play DE in 3-4 and either DE or DT in the 4-3. Ware can play LB in the in either the 3-4 or 4-3 and he could play some DE in the 4-3. Ogbogo could play DE in the 4-3 and LB in the 3-4, same as Thornton maybe not so much as DE though. With the same player out on the feild we can switch back and fourth as much as we like, even just before the snap. The point of it all is that it does not matter who is out there we can run any deffense we want. The other team is the one that is going to be the ones doing all the guessing and not being sure of what we are doing, which leads to their players making mistakes.
