I do. Although keep in my mind there CB metrics are pretty debatable, so you can only guess how much worse their safety coverage probably is. They're just not good at giving the proper blame in zone or when safeties play over the top .
1. Eric Weddle
17 Targets, 12 Catches Allowed for 97 Yards (39 YAC) and 1 TD, 2 INTs
2. Reshad Jones
21 Targets, 9 Catches Allowed for 164 Yards (79 YAC) and 1 TD, 0 INTs
3. TJ Ward
20 Targets, 9 Catches Allowed for 101 Yards (15 YAC) and 1 TD, 2 INTs
4. Jairus Byrd
10 Targets, 9 Catches Allowed for 113 Yards (53 YAC) and 0 TDs, 3 INTs
5. Ronde Barber
31 Targets, 21 Catches Allowed for 242 Yards (147 YAC) and 1 TD, 3 INTs _________________

Yes I can imagine. Weddle doesn't play man enough to give him credit for most of those receptions I assume, and I bet that goes for all other safeties too. I don't even remember him getting targeted that much. Only time I remember he was actually in man it seemed was the Colston TD catch (which was a beautiful throw and grab out of Weddle's way). _________________

Unless the offender is clear, PFF credit receptions to the closest defender. It's one situation where some knowledge of the game and ability to recognize coverages would come in really useful. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

How is Cassel not in the bottom 5?
On the other hand, sometimes this can be pretty accurate...Berry has been in the bottom 5 ALL year, but has played much better recently and no longer appears.
Derrick Johnson...just WOW!!!! No Chief game should be boring for ANYONE if you focus on this guy. The dude is playing at an unreal HOF type level, which is a shame he can't be in conversation for Defensive player of the year because of his team. He hasn't been in these rankings all year after a slow first 2 games and is now the #2 ILB, which means the last 2 or 3 weeks (and we've seen it with the eye test) he's been blowing away the competition. _________________

DJ wouldn't be in conversation for DPOY even if the Chiefs were good (even though record doesn't really affect DPOY.....) _________________

Kyle Arrington's picked it up, I guess. According to Tzimisce and another NE fan, QB's had a perfect rating targeting him as of 3 or so weeks ago. _________________

2nd worst WR in the NFL just shredded the Texans defense for 236 yards on 7 catches.

| Good to see Podlesh in the bottom 5 for punters. Guy has been garbage this season after playing so well last year. He did have an injury coming into the season and it was a question whether he'd start the season but Jesus. The whole Bears special teams unit has been garbage this season which is a huge surprise considering they're normally so good. |

He's 'down' to a 146.5 QB rating (worst in the league), and by their grading system, there are currently 21 CB's who've been worse in pass coverage then he is, including guys like William Gay, who's allowing the equivalent of a 78 QB Rating. |

These are just who they have "rated" as better, right? Not actually who IS better?
Because there's no way Casey Heyward is better than Richard Sherman. _________________
