... and I'm only slightly reluctant to call them a team that can beat anybody. love what these guys are doing. The best defense in the NFL (IMO), great running game and Russell Wilson has impressed me more in the past six or seven weeks than any rookie quarterback has in a long time.
This team is building something very special. _________________ Bears :: White Sox :: Blackhawks :: Bulls

Definitely not the best defense in the NFL. You're crazy. _________________

Our D is far from the best. I could argue that our Secondary is the best in the league, but that is it.
But I'm excited to see how Russell Wilson develops. Often it has been the rest of the O that has let him down on the road as of late. The Miami game will be interesting. |

I agree that they are dangerous. Before the season I felt they would win the NFC West and my mind hasn't changed. |

Same could be said about Baltimore, Atlanta, etc. etc.
Either way, Seattle is quickly becoming a team to be feared in the NFL. _________________ #FireDeanPees...and Chris Hewitt....and Matt Weiss |

I'm really not seeing any evidence of them being the best defense in the NFL. Great secondary, sure, and some quality pass rushers.
When its all said and done though I don't think they're a SB contender at the moment. Other teams IMO have better defenses, and they surely aren't on the same page as the elite offenses.
I like Russel, but I don't think he's at the point where he can go into Lambeau, Soldier Field, or Candle Stick in the playoffs and carry a team.
Give them a year or two to add pieces and they could be a real force. |

I agree. I see the Hawks as a SB contender in a year or two from now. We have a couple of years before we need to start giving big paydays to our key players.
We know that Russell Wilson is going to bust his [inappropriate/removed] off to get better, lets see how much he actually improves. |

I like their chances to get a wildcard, but I don't think they'd do much unless they nabbed a home game somehow. |

They are definitely a team no one wants to face. Their secondary, especially at home can minimize the impact even an elite QB can have on the game. If their run game plays up to its potential and Wilson plays mistake free football as well as making a few plays to extend drives and give their defense rest, they will be in the game with any team. |

They're are a team nobody wants to play because I believe they can beat any team on any given day. (didn't mean for that to rhyme)
In a pass first league they definitely have a legit secondary than could give a lot of teams fits. |

Dangerous in what way? If they even make it to the playoffs, I really would not take them too seriously. Sure, they can upset a team, but so can every other team in the playoffs. I just don't think they are consistent enough to beat 2 or 3 consecutive playoffs teams. |

We have playmakers in the back end who can make something happen in the clutch?
Don't take us seriously, it worked into our favour the first time. |

Is there a better non-Bear CB than Sherman this year? _________________
