Our Qb's are Ben, Leftwich and Chuck Batch and no QB on the practice squad

So who's out there? Garrard? Vince Young? Seneca Wallace? What ever happened to Dixon? Did he sign with anyone? What about Troy Smith? I think he was on our roster for about 10-15 seconds at some point. What about Brian "Rush" St. Pierre? Are we looking for a guy to start this week? If so, Why is Batch even here?
I personally think they'll sign someone this week to back up Batch. But I think signing a guy like Garrard would be a good move, not to start this week, but to take over the backup role in the future 2-3 years. Lefty is a good QB, but the guy is an injury waiting to happen. We need more reliability from our backup QB. So if we signed a guy to do that, then draft a guy to groom into being a backup for Ben, maybe a guy like Mike Glennon, I think that would be my ideal approach.

Wouldn't it be interesting if we made Garrard and Leftwich our backups!!  Dixon just signed on the Ravens PS. Troy Smith is a possibility. Jerrod Johnson is out there still. Never know where we'll go. |

they can sign Dixon off the ravens practice squad. Any of these names will do or Tyler Palko who has ties to Haley and Pittsburgh as a collegant.

didnt garard hurt his knee this training camp or preseason with the dolphins and that's why they let him go. I remember him being the early candidate to being the starter but then he got hurt.
Anyone remember?
