Brandon Meriweather played one half, and under 10 snaps in the third quarter, of the Redskins game against the Eagles. In that game, he recorded 7 tackles, 1 INT and 2 PDs. This was his only regular season appearance for the Redskins due to a sprained MCL and PCL in his left knee that kept him sidelined for two pre-season games and the first nine regular season games.

He tore the ACL in his right knee in the third quarter and will be placed on the injured reserve list to accompany two other defensive starters: Brian Orakpo and Adam Carriker.

Really too bad. He was having a very nice day, in his 2012 and Redskins debut, prior to the injury occurring.

Meriweather has been steadily going downhill for a couple of years now.. I wish injury on nobody though, hope he can recover quickly.

What terrible luck for him and the Redskins. Comes back from an injury to only suffer a season ending one.

Redskins can't catch a break on their defense getting healthy either.
