Pretty clear point to the post. He is encouraging people to continue the debate. |
No, he thinks RG3 has surpassed Luck now, and is trying to bring this up to laugh at people that think Luck is ROY, all the while not supplying any useful discussion whatsoever. |
For the first few weeks many posters made it seem like RGIII had already won it and his position as the favorite was virtually untouchable. For the past few weeks other posters have taken the same position regarding Luck. I think the real point is that both positions were foolish. |
I don't get that social commentary vibe from
"bump " |
But you got this

from "bump?"
Which only begs the question: If you knew the answer, why did you ask the question? What was the point of YOUR post? |

Id chose RG3. If only he had a better team around him that wasn't injury riddled. _________________

Well played J pep! Basically was bumping this thread because:
A. It's still relevant.
B. It's funny to see people jump back and fourth between the player coming off the big performance.
C. RGIII has been my pick for OROY since week 1, and has done nothing to change that view throughout the season. Even in RGIII's worst games this year he has been above average, and hasn't been a liability turing the ball over. I honestly don't see how people can say Luck has overall been better than RGIII this season.
Here's a few highlights of RGIII's game today

A. Luck 24/43 299 2 TD 2 Int vs the Patriots 29th ranked passing defense
R. Griffin 14/15 200 (84 rushing) 4TD 0int. Perfect QB rating vs 12th ranked passing defense. |
You do realize he threw the ball 1/4 as many times? The Colts offense is Andrew Lucks' arm. Redskins offense is based around the running game and play action/option. |
Even more so shows how impressive RG3 was. The surrounding players for these two rookies isn't that great. Griffin has had much more impressive stats while Luck has been leading a better record, main reason for these is not truly shown yet (strength of schedule etc.). Luck has been asked to pass a lot more though. |
