The Vikings havent beaten the Bears since 2009.
The last time the Vikings won in Chicago was in 2000.
This probably wont be a pretty game. |

We don't know if Cutler is going to play yet. We have a much better chance if Campbell plays. |

My expectations:
Less than 100 yards for AP.
Ponder will have to carry offense.
No matter which QB plays, we won't give up over 21 points. _________________

I actually disagree. I've always thought the Vikings fare worse vs. backups. _________________

The Bears can't make plays downfield without Cutler. And generally, teams play worse when they have worse players. |

Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't Adrian run for 200+ yards in Chicago his rookie year and then return a kick-off that eventually led to a game winning field goal?
The game might've been in Champaign at U of IL, but it was still at the
Bears |

As for the upcoming game, I think the Vikes stand a good chance if they can annihilate the QB . . . not sure how well that will work, because I think Tice may try to establish a solid run game first.
Hopefully, the Vikes can put some points up and keep them in passing mode. |

I'm expecting for us to take very little chances vs this team. They have by far the most oppurtunistic defense in the league. I'm convinced if we turn the ball over, they are scoring on defense.
To beat the Bears, we must:
1) Attack with Adrian Peterson. Their weakness is the run game, and Peterson has been on another level lately. Hopefully he's 100% this week because we simply need him to do great for us.
2) Get into the QBs face. If we let Cutler get comfortable, he's going to shred us. If we can't get pressure from our front 4 constantly, Him and Marshall are just going to make our defense look silly. This would be a nice time to see Jared Allen get about 4-5 sacks to slow down the Bears
3) Not even think about punting the ball to Hester. Heck, don't even think about Punting.
4) Consistantly wrap up. Matt Forte is a good Runningback. If we don't make that initial tackle though, he has the ability to go the distance. I don't want to see another Doug Martin show again.
The odds are seemingly in Chicago's favor. Everyone thinks they are just great, and that they'll find a way to run the NFC playoff picture and do this and that.
Well I'm tired of it. I want to see rip this team a new one. Besides its getting cold outside, we need new fur coats, and this week would be perfect to do some Bear hunting. _________________

So recently, the Vikings win once in Chicago every 5-7 years. I think we are due for a win. |
