Can someone explain to me the Roku? Is it something you have on top of Dish? Do you pay a monthly subscription?

It's a box that connects to the internet, and has Apps. Think AppleTV. You need a Netflix, Vudu, Hulu Plus account for it to be worth anything. You don't need a subscription for the box itself.

How is Black Friday on Thanksgiving at 8pm going to work? Like Walmart is already open before 8pm, so what time should I show up at?

I dont really do much Holiday season shopping, but are video game deals and such the same online on Monday as they would be on Friday in stores? Id rather not go out to Best Buy or Walmart and get stabbed.

Vudu is another movie service. It's more of a rental company. They do the new releases, and some stuff that you can't get on Netflix. I messed up with that one, you pay per movie.
If you don't have a PS3, Xbox, Wii, Blu-Ray player with apps, AppleTV, then the Roku is worth it.

Hmm thanks. I might still have to go out to Walmart as I want the 38$ AC3 and 25$ Borderlands 2.

I wouldnt go out if I just wanted AC3, BL2 for 25 might make me go out but still debating. Im hoping I will find these deals online on Monday.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if the PS3 combo would be sold online or not. It appears it will be. I'll be logging onto Amazon at 5:10PST and buying.
