The Royals are said to be shopping Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, Alex Gordon, Billy Butler, and Wil Myers.
I have no idea why anyone would do such a thing. Maybe quietly look and see what you could get for Butler (mostly for Taijuan Walker lolz). Maybe look to trade Gordon - maybe. That's it.

Straight up for Aoki? 
I'd LOVE to bring in Eric Hosmer. I have no idea how much it would cost, but it'd be awesome to solve the whole 1B dilemma.

I could see the Mets showing interest in Gordon and/or Myers. There were Niese-Gordon rumors circulating, which a Mets official said would not be enough for the Mets.

Totally agree on Hosmer. I think selling him right now would be idiotic. Dude has a bright future and you'd be selling soooo low on him.
I can see selling Butler/Gordon for guys who are gonna be ready a couple years from now (peak with the incoming help for the rotation and Hosmer/Moose), but trading those youngins? I don't get it at all.

I wouldn't be shocked if Walker went for Myers or Gordon.
Could definitely see the M's and Royals making a deal.

I'd use Aoki in the trade if they wanted. He's nice and exciting, but he is 31.

Alex Gordon to Atlanta makes wayyyyy to much sense. Huge need for a LF. Need for a lead off bitter(Gordon will do). Moore was with the Braves, and makes about one trade a year with the team.
