Baylor winning at half and Stanford tied with Oregon at half. So far, so good for ND. _________________ NFL: Dallas Cowboys

How do you feel about Devin Gardner? Looked good today, look forward to him being the starter next season |
He looked really good today, though Iowa's D is horrid, so makes it a little harder to gauge. Still, looks like UM shouldn't miss a beat once DR is gone.

Not likely. Ferentz is guaranteed another $17M or so on his contract. Iowa seriously shot themselves in the foot with his contract. |
Eh, I mean I like Iowa though, they are usually a pretty solid team, and put together a potential big ten winner every few seasons. Maybe it gets better?
Michigan's future looks good though, Devin Gardner looks awesome, and hopefully Shane Morris is as advertised after him _________________

Puts Bama right back in the title picture. Which is great for me, because my Accounting professor is a huge Tide fan _________________

Now it's up to ND to escape the potential upset that is USC and be in the driver's seat _________________

I agree, but going into next week Alabama will probably be number 2 _________________

Alabama is right back in the title picture, but I agree Georgia will be no pushover. With Barkley of USC getting hurt things look good for Notre Dame. Let's face it the powers that be are hoping for a Notre Dame vs. Alabama Championship game. But anything could happen. Just ask Oregon and K State. _________________ Northland

So if Georgia beats Bama and USC beats ND, does that give us a Florida Georgia NC if Georgia beats LSU/Bama again in the SEC championship? _________________

See.
If ND loses
If UF beats FUS
- Florida has a good shot to go against either Bama or UGA-
Why? We have had the best schedule in College Football. And we would be ranked #2 after one of them (Bama/UGA) Fall.
This is a pipe dream though. And while we have played amazing, we still have work to do. But this has been a damn good season for us. A win against FSU gives us the SugarBowl. That's the real game I care about. We finish the season on a high note. _________________

If UGA falls to Bama, then you'd have to play Bama in the SEC championship, right? _________________

Negative. UGA is the SEC East Champion. (it goes by conference record. Both Florida and UGA have 1 loss in the SEC, but they have a head to head win over us).
So UGA will play in the SEC Championship.
Which means that one of them (UGA or Bama) will have 1 more loss on their record which will drop them possibly out of the top 5.
But if UGA falls to Bama, and Florida wins, Florida goes to the Sugar - UNLESS - ND falls then we go to the BCS. _________________
