Quote: | Jim Harbaugh will have what the 49ers are calling a "minor procedure" today to address an irregular heartbeat that was detected Wednesday night, the team announced today.
Harbaugh, 48, began feeling ill Wednesday evening and went to Stanford Hospital, which is near his home and which is affiliated with the 49ers. It's not known what the procedure will entail, but a team spokesman said Harbaugh is expected back tomorrow. Special teams coach and assistant head coach Brad Seely is acting as head coach today. |

Here's hoping the surgery is a success and everything is fine. Priority #1 is health and thats more important than MNF right now. Coach just needs to follow Doctor's orders and take it easy for a little bit. |

Cue animated gif of him flipping out....
Hope he gets healthy soon. He has been instrumental in the Niners' success over the past couple seasons. _________________

The gif isnt even necessary for this one |

Plus, it just seemed like it would be in bad taste.... Agreed, though. _________________

The Rams game must have nearly given him a heart attack like it did me. _________________

As much as I detest the guy as the most classless NFL coach in recent memory; this is a real life problem and I wish him a speedy recovery and good health in the future |

Anything medically involving the heart, even something deemed "minor," is not something to take lightly by any means. Hopfully the procedure or whatever exactly he had done, as well as any type of medication or fixes that his doctor has done for him, is able to help Harbaugh out. Sure, I don't really root for the 49ers and I didn't root at all for Stanford during his days there, but football comes second when talking about something like this. I hope that Harbaugh ends up being okay, and he is able to have his body back at 100% as soon as possible. _________________

Harbaugh has more class in his pinky than Bobby Petrino has ever had in his whole life. Pentrino was just 5 years ago as well so thats decently recent _________________

Can someone give me some information about what a "minor procedure for an irregular heartbeat" really entails? _________________

Ex-Lax is fed though an IV to make the heart regular again. _________________

Stressful job! He looks in good shape for his age to so kinda a wake up call for any one whos stressed.
How does a big slob like Andy Reids heart keep ticket for melted cheesey gooey stuff and a middle age stud like Harboughs craps out on him? _________________
