If we win here you need to make all the Falcons GDTs for the rest of the year early.

Cards fan.. curious question.. have you guys noticed an increase in new fans or anything with the 8-1 season thus far? We had tons come out of the wood works when we were 4-0 and now they've gone back to hiding.
I hope you guys don't see this one as a gimme game. Our defense isn't going to make it easy.. and the offense can surprise at times.
That being said, I don't think anyone on our board is actually thinking we'll win but we need this game in order to keep any chance of the playoffs. |

No, not really. They might be long time fans that were just excited and wanted to talk about it on a forum. I've been a Falcons fan since the Jessie Tuggle days (had the pleasure of shaking his hand and having a drink with him) but I didn't find this place til a year or two ago. I don't think anyone feels this is a gimme but understand that we're going to come out dropping bombs. After a loss to the Saints I feel like we'll turn up the heat. _________________

No NFL game is a gimme...unless Jgold is making the gameday thread. Sorry Cardinals fans. _________________

I still have nightmares of the bomb from Kurt Warner to Larry Fitzgerald when we played them last in the playoffs that year.. nightmares. We could have had both our corners and both our safetys covering Fitz on that play and he still would have come down with it.
I'll post more thoughts as we get closer to game time.. _________________

Hoping our defense can show up and give our offense a punchers chance with a big play or two. I am going to continue to stick by my thought process from day one this season with Arizona.
If we can hold the opposition to less than 20 we are going to be well in the game. If not, we are going to be out the back door faster than a cat that forgot what the litter box is for.
Here's to no injuries and a game that brings excitement for both sets of fans. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

The funny thing about that playoff run and the next season, with reference to those deep balls to Fitz from Warner. Every single one of them was underthrown. Kurt's arm was almost falling out of it's socket those last couple of years (That and he also knew he could throw it up there and let Fitz make a play), but we still made those deep ball throws to Fitz. Now we either don't have the time or the QB's don't have the faith in Fitz to go and get it.
It is rather sad.
Personally that play would not give me nightmares, the fumble at the start of the second half would give me nightmares. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
