Griffin makes list of top 10 most underpaid athletes in 2012:
5. Robert Griffin III, QB, Washington Redskins
2012 salary: $390,000
| Quote: | | Clearly, RG3 is not hurting financially, with adidas and Subway spokesman money rolling in. And even his base salary for 2012 is misleading, considering the $13.8 million signing bonus for the No. 2 overall pick. All told, Griffin is a $3.84 million cap hit for the Redskins this season — a bargain for an electrifying face of the franchise who has posted 2,522 total yards, 14 total TDs and five turnovers over the first nine games of his career. | his cap his for us is.... Nice! great job on the deal by Allen and his team. _________________

What? They mention his 390,000 salary in the same paragraph as a $13.8 MILLION signing bonus and then only use salary for the article?? They should at LEAST prorate his signing bonus over the years of his contract if they want to represent what he is getting paid.
That is very misleading. But yeah nice job by FO keeping his cap number down. He still is getting decent money for a rookie. And might even be one of the few players to get his deal re-done before his contract is up _________________

Well he is getting the top end salary for a rookie on the rookie wage scale. _________________
