I understand his frustration. When people are saying things like:

it's ridiculous.
That said, he has to be more careful about what he says. Clearly he didn't mean every fan, but it's going to come across as like that. He's a professional, he needs to act in a professional manner and keep those things to himself.

I don't really think this organization is in a position to be letting guys like Cox and Knighton walk talent-wise. We need all the help we can get, and if we were to lose two solid players like that, we're dangerously close to a threshold of bleeding away 'homegrown' talent just as fast as we can add it through the draft. Not a good situation to be in.
Especially when it comes to Cox. I will be extremely disappointed if we lose our top CB, even if he is injured with frustrating regularity. Really hope he shows some loyalty and wants to stay.
Knighton on the other hand, i don't want to lose him either, he's a decent player and has potential to be more. But it does look as though he probably wants out of this situation. So that may very well be out of our GM's hands. Good luck to whoever ponies up the dollars for him in trying to keep him motivated and on the straight and narrow though. |

i just feel like we cant become buffalo letting all the good players go elsewhere, its not a great way to retain fans
