Wow. The writing was on the wall for Maybin. He went into full Buffalo mode. _________________

Maybin hasn't done crap all year. Was hoping he'd expand on what he did in 2011.
Oh well. It's just been that kind of year. _________________

I was really rooting for Maybin to get his career back on track. Good character, just couldn't get the job done on the field. _________________

| Unfortunate, but Maybin has been incredibly disappointing. He could be back, he's been that unproductive where I doubt a team will be gung-ho to sign him, but either way I can't fault this. I was expecting a lot more from Maybin and he hasn't delivered. |

We cut Maybin when he was scheduled to come to our charity event. He pulled up, then got the phone call and left. That pissed me off. At least wait until afterwards. That's just F'd up. It's not like he is a bad person or killing the locker room.
I'm venting on twitter. I'm waving my white flag for the season. Tank the season or fight, I no longer care. I'm just going to stick with talking about the up coming offseason. _________________

It's strange how ineffective Maybin had become this season after breaking out the way he did in the relatively few games he played last year. He seemed to really be busting his rear in the offseason, too.
Sad to hear about Trufant also. You wouldn't want him covering big receivers down the field, but he actually did a pretty good job containing Welker in the slot in NE. Solid playing the run as well. He seemed to become a nice role player. _________________

I like the move, Maybin is useless and I have always like Bell, he is pretty strong catching out of the backfield and can hit the holes hard. He can probably start over Greene

Maybin got a lot of coverage sacks last year. I always thought we overrated him. I figured (hoped?) that an off season with Rex would improve him overall. Unfortunately my desires were not met |

Maybin put on weight and focused on coverage and run defense. Could have lost the step that gave him the edge for a few sacks. _________________

Maybin just isn't a good football player. |
