This is the most recent Mock Draft that Footballs Future has posted on it's homepage. It's done by Robert Davis. How do you feel about how he has the draft playing out? What do you think of the Lions pick? What letter grade would you give it? Would you do anything differently?

Honestly the more and more I see I'm convinced our 1st pick will be a DE. Obviously that means I think DE will be BPA on our board.
So based on that mock I'd see us taking Sam Montgomery of LSU.

I would rather Sam Montgomery, Barkevious Mingo, Demantre Moore, or Eric Reid to be honest. I wouldn't be mad at them for picking Banks but it definitely would not be the BPA method of drafting.

I think we are going to be picking higher than 13 when its all over....good for a trade down or a player + pick.
But on the downside I honestly think we are going to be grabbing another WR (or maybe another TE) with one of our first three picks. Regardless of depth this team simply drafts the bejesus out of receiver position.
I'm almost tempted to say we might as well just get it over with and simply take another 1st round WR and quite wasting our draft ammo year in and year out in rounds 2-3 on receivers.... |

Joeckel has potential but has been on and off this year. If rather trade down and take Jake Matthews.

That mock has Marcus Lattimore drafted in the first round.
