No to Bowe

His name has been tossed around quite a bit here as a guy to potentially trade for or sign after this season in free agency. After watching his performance tonight I want no part of him. He has awful, awful hands. I want no part of him. Just sayin'.

Me neither. Only WR FA I want is Mike Wallace and that ain't happening. I'm hoping we target Fred Davis though.

No, actually I would probably stick with Hart and Bess over Bowe.

Besides, everyone bitches about Jakes massive salary. yet you would take Bowe and his, at least, 8mill per to drop balls on crucial plays?

Yeah, his play last night was absolutely pathetic. Not the ball player I remember seeing 2 years ago. Granted he's playing with Cassel but still...no excuse for those drops.

I'm tired of receivers who drop passes. In football I have two pet peeves:

Running backs who fumble.
Wide receivers who drop passes.

The Dolphins receivers for the most part catch the ball, and we need to continue that growth. For a good QB to take the step to be great you cannot have missed opportunities, and dropped passes are exactly that.

I'm not a Bowe fan. Way to inconsistent. Two FA WRs I'd keep my eye on FA Greg Jennings could come cheap after the session he has had. And Kevin Ogletree. Ogletree will not come in and be the immediate answer but he us an upgrade with size, speed, and smarts- not to mention would not be expensive! I would rather save the big money for a FA like Jarius Byrd.

Bowe is still a better option than what we have but does he solve the problem of speed? I dont think so. He is a big target and that should help but we continue to lack speed at receiver. Jennings is also not an option because he remains hurt. The only receiver I would target is Mike Wallace. He opens up your entire offense. But I dont view Wallace as a #1, he is more like a 1b to another receiver.
