Their tracking definitely isn't 100% accurate but they are usually pretty good. I hate how they award swing or screen passes to certain players when it should be on the entire defene. Aside from that, some zone catches are questionable at times. But still since not many get to see every game it is good to have the raw stats. _________________

Claiborne improving each week, going to be a good one
On another note,I'm not sure how much Cruz was in the slot but Scandrick played a pretty dang good game too. _________________

I find it interesting that teams are throwing at carr. Hes been pretty good, but a little off lately. He needs to regain some confidence.
Claiborne and Scandrick have been balling. |

PFF is the greatest website in the world. Just throwing that out there.
I was really impressed by our secondary this week. The fact that we really didn't get a lot of pressure, made it all the more impressive. I'd like PFF to put out a stat on jam coverage, because I feel like most of our corners do much better in bump and run than in zone or man.
But as for Claiborne he was money. From the brilliant pass deflection, to closing on Hixon to stop them on 3rd down, he was great. Even the one first down he allowed on the out to Nicks, he was in perfect position and anything but a perfect pass would've been a incomplete or pick. I'm really excited to see what he does against White and Jones. _________________ Victor Cruz vs Dallas in 2012:

Sorry but PFF is not "the greatest site in the world" - their metrics are often wrong and their rankings atrocious. FO is the best for what you're looking for and their yearly Almanac is amazing _________________

Most teams pass like ~30-40 times a game, right? If you just break down the numbers, I would assume that every starting CB gets targeted around 6-8 times a game. Thats just a guess, would love to see the real number of targets. _________________

Indeed, Claiborne was abused for much of the game but it happens to every rookie. He made a fine play late in the game though. Carr rebounded after some sub-par performances and played great. How about the play he made in the end zone? _________________

I think 2 were Offsides which is a mental error/easy fix - just look at the ref and make sure you're good and don't jump the hard count.
There was also a holding penalty where he whiffed on his jam and held the guy that probably saved a TD - I'm okay with that
The other two holds were ridiculous - especially that one where it negated a Spencer INT. _________________

I loved his quote after game .
Yeah, I saw that penalty that negated the pick six. I'm not mad at the TD he allowed though, great coverage better catch.................... _________________

I only remember 5 penalties, but seen one of the Dallas writers tweeted that he had 6. Either way, refs really painted a target on him. _________________
