How will this affect us? I hope it doesn't hurt us once the playoff picture gets closer. Hopefully we still finish with the other top NFC teams and it doesn't hurt us. Something to think about. _________________

Better than a loss. 10-5-1 will beat 10-6, but lose to 11-5. With a head to head win over Seattle already, plus them having 2 divisional losses to our 0, we are still in great standing. _________________

As long as we keep it up and win the division I'll be happy. I'd like home field but will be happy if we're in the playoffs regardless. _________________

I dont think anyone knows how to feel about the tie. I feel upset that it ended in a tie but it i guess it was good that it wasnt a loss.
If the niners would've won, would they win the tie breaker with the Bears? Anyone know? _________________

If I'm reading this right, wild-card rules are applied. So, head-to-head first. Since we haven't played them, next we would go with conference record. Chicago is 4-1, and had we won, we would have been 5-2. 80% versus 71%. Chicago wins. Which is why we really need to win next week. We only play them once, so we can't tie that up. It won't ever go to conference record if we end up tying with Chicago. _________________

This is why I felt that going into this season, we couldn't settle for FGs because I had a feeling Akers would hit this wall. _________________

We were a couple fortunate penalties away from losing it. So not bad. On the other hand we were a very makeable 40-yard FG away from winning it. So not good.
In the end, I'm thinking we make the playoffs barring some really bad misfortune. After that it's all about home field and a tie rather than a win is likely to hurt us when it comes to that. _________________

We've been better on the road than at home, this year, it seems... home field might not be that important... _________________
