The Seattle and Tampa Bay losses could be critical if we stay in the running for a playoff berth. _________________

Neither have many games you'd expect them to win. 9-7 might actually be good enough for us to get in. _________________

| If we win 2 or 3 games this coming stretch after the bye week I will be satisfied. Of course I would love it if the vikings get into the Playoffs, but you have to consider the jump we have already made from last year to this year. |

I disagree, the Seahawks only have two games left against above .500 teams, I'd put money on them being 10-6, which means we would have to win 5 of our last 6 to make it.
Luckily for us, all 6 of our games are at noon, and we are actually 5-1 in noon games this year. That being said, I seriously doubt we finish better than 9-7 (I'm working on a mock that plays out this scenario), which would still be incredible compared to last year and would give us a ton of hope for the future. |

| We would probably want the 49ers to lose the division and compete for a wild card spot since we have the head to head advantage. How does there tie effect things? |

At best: 10-6
We split our division games, Houston rests their squad having locked down HFA, and we get a win over a team we should beat in the Rams.
Most realistic scenario: 9-7
We play hot off our bye and go 2-1 through our first 3 games. Injuries, inexperience and depth catch up to us tho and we drop 2 the last 3. We miss out on the playoffs because of critical loses to Tampa and Seattle.
Worst case: 8-8
Not bad for a team 3-13 just the year before. After the bye we go 2-4 with wins coming against St. Louis and Chicago at home. _________________ Welcome to Minnesota, Greg Jennings.
