What do you guys think? If they lose tonight's game vs Dallas he is as good as gone. There are certainly some negatives about Reid but he does a great job with Qbs, something we clearly need.
Would you guys want him in KC? _________________

I feel like he needs a break from football. He looks worn out. He's poured his heart into that team for 10+ years and it looks like it's finally catching up to him. I think a year to recharge his batteries would do well for him as he decides if he's got any more head coaching in him.
The number one thing the Chiefs need from a head coach is energy. We need a new mechanic. We have some really nice parts to build with, we simply need someone to put the pieces together. Maybe a Greg Schiano type of no-nonsense attitude would do this team and city good.

| I would take Reid in a heart beat. The main thing I am looking for in our HC is a guy who is a PROVEN coach. Somone who has experience and at least better than a .500 record as a HC. Well Andy Reid is 129-86 as a head coach! Tha includes FIVE NFC championship appearances....I don't know what more you could ask for in HC. Getting Andy Reid would be very similar to how we got Marty Schottenheimer back in 1989, after he got fired in cleveland despite having a sterling win/loss record. Andy Reid is a proven commodity. With him you know coaching won't be the issue, just have to get him a QB, and the rest will fall into place. I also like the way he drafts. I would be thrilled to Get Andy Reid. |

On an Eagles related note, Nick Foles is looking pretty good. Fire Pioli. _________________

I'm all in on Reid.
Reminds me very much of Fox going to Denver. Totally worn out message/impact in Carolina and needed a fresh start. Add in Reid's track record with QB's and my faith in us getting a 1st round QB to groom + Stanzi in a back role will also improve.
Watching Foles today - I'm impressed. _________________ In Andy We Trust!

If Reid is somehow available, I'm scooping him up faster than a fat kid can shovel in cake.
Think about his offensive mind with the chance to mentor a guy like Geno Smith (very similar skill set to McNabb when he was at Syracuse) and the weapons we have on offense. Charles being used like McCoy is used is very appealing to me and Wylie/McCluster would finally be used in ways they SHOULD be used. His time clock management and play calling has been brought into question on occasion, but what coach hasn't had the occasional issues in that regard? He's the longest tenured coach in the league for a reason. He's a great one. He knows how to create a "team mentality" and at one point, he made it to the NFC Championship game what? Three? Four years in a row?
I'm definitely down with Andy Reid. _________________

I think we'd be fortunate to land a motivated Reid but i dont know how he's feeling about coaching these days with some of the bad stuff thats gone on in his personal life.
ps If Pioli is still running the show next year i'd imagine he'd want more of a puppet anyway. _________________

I'm down with Reid, just not sure I want him making all the football decisions. They talked about his inability to replace Jim Johnson today. I think Andy would be great for a young QB, and as Ryk said, our weapons may finally all get utilized.
That being said, I'd really like someone with a good defensive mind, a strong guy. A great coaching staff to me would be...
Andy Reid
Young OC
Rex Ryan...yeah I said it. Another guy who might not be a great head coach, but he can coach D, and he attacks. _________________
