I started wondering this 5 minutes into the 3rd. Which starters would you keep on the team for next year if you're Reggie? Who would be off the team completely? For me:
Starters kept:
Offense:
Carson Palmer, Stefen Wisnewski, Jared Veldheer, DHB, DMoe, Myers, Reece
Defense:
Huff, Burris, Houston
Starters gone:
Offense:
Smith, Carlisle
Defense:
McClain, Kelly, Seymour
On the fence:
Offense:
- McFadden (wouldn't mind a trade)
- Brisiel (he can't be THS bad, can he? plus he just got the contract)
Defense:
- Branch (don't want to add more needs)
- Wheeler (I'm not here to argue with his haters) , Bartell (hasn't shown enough either way)
- Shaggy (depends on $$$)
- Gio (dece depth but not starter)
Your list? _________________

Last year people were talking about Branch being the future of the Raiders. The whole team took a huge step backwards this year so can't tell how good or bad someone is until they have a good coach. |

I pretty much agree with your offensive list.
Defense, I would keep Houston and Shaghnessy, plus the ones you listed.
In our secondary, Huff and Pat Lee are the only guys who have made plays this season. Everyone else has done nothing. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

No mention of Desmond Bryant? I think he's played well for us. _________________

Good point. I think he'll take someone's starting position next season. _________________

Starters only? I said offense we keep...
Palmer -I still am not sold on this guy, but don't want to give up on him.
Moore, DHB, Reece, Myers, Streaters, Criner. Jared, Wiz.
Defense:
Houston, Burris, Curry -I still like him...Huff, Bryant....
Lechler and Janikowski.
Other than that they could all go.
I'm done with McFadden all the talent in the world, but we build our offense around him and he's always hurt. Trade him for as much value as we can. |

Defense:
Houston, Shaugnessy, Bryant, Burris, Wheeler
Offense:
Veldheer, Wiznewski, Moore, Reece
In the mix:
Palmer - If they drafted the QBOTF, there is no need to keep him. But I'd give him another year or 2.
DMAC - If they can't trade him, keep him.
DHB - Leader for this team but inconsistent. Worse WRs.
Myers - Steady pass catcher, but position can be upgraded. _________________

I wouldn't mind keeping him for a year to let whoever we draft sit and learn for a little bit. _________________

Not to mention the last thing the Raiders need is to fill the QB spot with the limited resources they already have. _________________

I think Lechler is gone that's why we kept king on the practice squad _________________ Raiders 2013 |

Good point about Lechler.
I hate to see him go, but if he doesn't restructure to bring his cap hit down then he might be a necessary casualty.
If this disaster continues and McKenzie chooses to be like Al and lets Allen go, I wonder if Gruden gets a call. |

Offense:
Denarius Moore
Carson Palmer
Marcel Reece
Brandon Myers
Stefen Wisnewski
Jared Veldheer
DHB
Defense:
Lamar Houston
Miles Burris
Michael Huff
Matt Shaugnessy
There's some young guys with potential. Bilukidi, Bryant, Streater, Criner showed some nice YAC ability today, I liked the way Stewart ran today seems like a ZBS guy. There is some young pieces on this team that may shine later on but There's really only a few starters that I would keep. _________________
