Kiper loves Moore, has him up to #4 overall. Says this:

Moore has been impossible to block so far, and it goes back to 2011. There's not a single recent game in which he has struggled. Versatile, Moore has adjusted well to playing as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme. Excels as a pass-rusher, able to dip hips, turn the corner and use quickness and length to bother tackles.

Mel Kiper also thought Mike Williams was the greatest WR prospect in all his years scouting.

I like Moore and would be very happy if the Browns drafted him but your constant and over the top love affair with him is getting annyoying. You did the same thing last year with Luke Kueckly and 90% of the board ended up annoyed with it. Don't do the same this year or Browns fans may turn against Damontre Moore and not even know why they don't like him other than the fact they got tired of hearing you pimp him every chance you had.

Thought he looked pretty good yesterday. He made AJ Mccaron roll out of his comfort zone. He had just 1 sack but he did a good job getting in the back field. If it wasn't for the Aggies sorry ars secondary they would have dominated Bama.

Heck, one sack against Bama is pretty darn good.

Quantarus Smith posted 3 sacks his Bama match up and I don't know who the other team was but D.J. Fluker has given up two 3 sacks games alone.

Smith had at least twice to three times as many snaps though VS Alabama as Western Kentucky 3&outed a lot though vs Bama's D.

Here are some highlight videos of Moore vs. some of the better college teams.

1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZlyDKSEgWU vs. LSU. 10 Tackles. 2 TFL. 1 Sack. Shouldve been 2.

2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTNtQQvE7LE&feature=relmfu
Vs. Florida 10 Tackles. 3 TFL. 3 sacks

3. No video for bama yet. 5 tackles 1 TFL. 1 sack.

4. Lousiana Tech 17 Tackles 2.5 TFL 1.5 sacks.

I like what I see from the videos. All these stats are against ranked teams or were ranked at the time. He plays well against the run. I saw him dip his hips to get around tackles. Collapses the pocket against the QB and contains for the run. Could be a very nice addition to our DL in all aspects.

The Aggies NT also destroyed Barret Jones yesterday. Barret could not contain the guys speed at all.

Moore is going to go #1 or #2 in the draft. He is sizzling red hot after this weeks game. Barkley/Smith one of them should edge out the other as the consensus top QB & should be the #1 pick.

You don,t take LB #1 or NT or G.

Watched tape of his from Florida and LSU game. He is an elite pash rusher and a very sound run stopper. Sometimes plays a little high which causes him some problems.

I hate moore's hand use. Or lack thereof. He just burries he shoulder into a guy to often. he's not a "to the whistle" player either. Not that he's lazy, just doesn't keep going every play.

Having said that. His run pass recognition is very.good. Great burst. And his variety moves are good.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/story/20996318/big-board-some-safe-picks-emerge-at-top-but-scouts-still-looking-out-for-no-1

On Rob Rang's Big Board

#5 * Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M: Scouts talk all the time about the important of judging players as their level of competition increases. With the Aggies making the jump to the SEC and Moore, specifically, switching from A&M's "Joker" position to full-time defensive end, some expected him to need time to acclimate. Instead, at a relatively lean 6-4, 250 pounds, he's dominated, leading the country in tackles for loss (20) and tied with Western Kentucky's Quanterus Smith as the nation's leading pass rusher with 12.5 sacks.

Should be available if the Browns like him.

I'm hearing nothing but positives about Moore recently, and supposedly NFL scouts are extremely interested in him right now.... Should be interesting to see how he rises or falls with the end of the season and then the combine coming.

Having him and Sheard on the field at the same time could be fun.

He reminds me a lot of D. Ware although maybe not as explosive. Heck, they even have the same number.

Definitely doesn't have the same explosion or agility but he has a lot of power to his game. Uses his hands well, 3 down player. In the scheme being run now though the more speed and explosion the better. Looking at Ware he is much more toned and agile, hopefully that would be something Moore works on if he transitions to a 3-4 but will probably need in a 4-3 as well.

Intriguing, he has his own game that blends speed and power. Even has a spin move even though his footwork needs improved. Man if he can just develop a little more explosion he can be a really good player. Long arms and good hand usage all other aspects of the game for him will be no problem, but he may need just that extra edge of speed in the pros.
