Also, if Bud fires Munch, do you really expect him to pony up the cash for what may be the biggest name (and a guy who already turned down one head coaching gig) around?
We all know that if Munch is fired, we'll be getting a middling record, low cost guy. Perry Fewell will cost a lot, Chip Kelly will cost a lot. Don't see it happening.
But yeah, Chip Kelly and Locker could do amazing things together... beautiful things... |
I could see Chip sticking with Locker and then trying to snag Mariota after next year. Just as a backup to Locker, or if Locker fails to impress, put him in as his guy.

Also, don't forget, there is some familiarity between Chip and Locker. They did play against eachother in the Pac-12. I think Locker would/could be a tempting factor in Chip taking the HC job in Tennessee.
