I for one am very dissapointed that we have not seen Vinny Curry once this year. I was one of his biggest supporters coming into the draft, I was so happy when we drafted him, Like most of us were. I even went as far to say he'd get 7sacks this year(highly doubt that happens now).
But I just don't get why he has not been active once this year? He can atleast bring a little pass rush. I'm tired of seeing Tapp and Hunt not do ish while Vinny a life long Birds fan, who we know has heart and will play his butt off has been sitting on the bench. I think it's time to unleash and let him play.
I just don't get why he hasn't played yet? This guy was a 2nd Round pick, it's not like we're talking about a 7th rounder here. What do you guys think about him\ why do you he hasn't gotten on the field yet? _________________

First couple of weeks I had no issue with him being inactive, but with Tapp and Hunt being near invisible, but when they decided to roll with 4 RB's instead of 5 DE's it was beyond dumb _________________

Doesn't surprise me, Andy probably isn't a big fan of Indian food _________________

We need to give him a shot. Hunt isn't doing anything for us. _________________

Either is Babster
Curry is fresh and lives in a four point stance so it just makes to much sense.
But they need to really get guys like Curry in and see what they have.. maybe one of these unknown young bloods can bring a spark... plus Curry is just dope! _________________

Exactly. It can't get much worse, I can't remember the last meaningful sack we've had(outside of Graham's strip sack vs Brees). I think it's time to let the kid play and see if he can make a difference. It's not like anyone else on the DL is playing at a pro-bowl level, give the kid a shot and atleast see what you have in him. _________________

Just playing Devils Advocate ,I too would like to see Curry. However there has to be a reason Todd Bowles wouldn't insert him into the line up. Could Vinny not be the smartest cookie in the bunch and having issues with the playbook and assingments? Is he just not showing much in practice? Is he not picking up Washburns scheme? It's not just black or white play or don't play. If he is showing any of the above signs (not saying he is) there is good reason to sit him. It's not like this wide 9 Wasburn scheme is easy to adapt to. Just saying. _________________

You're in a 4 point sprinter stance and your one job is to get to the QB any way possible while sticking to your gap. It is an easy concept when you're best skill as a DE is pass-rushing(Speed rusher specifically) _________________
