So Jon Gruden would make a good head coach in Cleveland because you liked John Harbaugh back when he was available.
Makes total sense. Forgive me for intruding on your epiphany. |

Your the one who said I was bad at picking HC's. The only one I have campaigned for was HC's. Then you get all pi$$y when your statement doesn't hold true with the facts.
I don't see how Gruden can be considered a bad coach. He molded the raiders into the team he would eventually beat in a superbowl and coached a team to a Superbowl whose former HC couldn't figure out how to get to one till he had a fall of fame QB. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

No, I said your batting average was bad in reference to the amount of people agreeing with you in this thread. If there were a poll, it would be a landslide defeat of the idea of hiring Jon Gruden. The coach we were talking about.
I am not in your head, so I really had no idea you campaigned for Harbaugh. Don't know how that got into the conversation, TBH. |

He's a good coach, just not a good fit for this team as it's constructed.
In my opinion. |

Not too mention if he does come back he is going to get offers from more talented not as young player oriented more ready now teams which is his MO _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient |

The Question is...is he looking to build build a team that has young talent or try to take a team to the next level? With Gruden doing his QB camps for ESPN he has a good feel for for most of the young QB's in the league as well as his MNF gig. as well. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

You're both wrong.
Its just something they tell to inexperienced researchers because they have no idea how to do anything with statistics.
There's a branch of statistics that deals with this exact paradox. If correlation does not imply causation, then how do we prove anything is caused by anything? |

Gruden has a super bowl ring as head coach he grew up a browns fan meaning he knows what fans hope to see , that doesnt mean much but you add in two variables here: 1. hes the most sought after coach 2.hes been doing MNF games and has been interviewing a majority of rookies coming into the league
all these rumbleings of gruden looking for coaches or whatever, might just be Haslam calling after the Baltimore game, i think Philly is catching wind due to the andy reid being canned theory, but Reid might not be, as we are learning in cleveland through banner how their organization is structured to reid, I also believe, Gruden would way rather be the Browns coach, a thousand times more, he would rather beat the steelers than the giants, he would rather bring the dawg pound back,
i dont think shurmur can beat pittts if dallas is a loss ive been wrong but its gonna be ugly the rest of this year, shurmur doesnt get through that and it could mess with this young teams head, so things are happening here, one way or another its gonna be a new HC, Gruden is the best available even over Cowher but these are alll my opinions _________________
