I was convinced that Nick Perry was one of the options for the Texans at 26; He, Shea McLellan, Courtney Upshaw and Chandler Jones were the guys I'd figure we'd get, didn't even think about Whitney Mercilius going into draft night...
Tough loss for the Packers, it looked like Perry was developing well for 'em. This and the loss of Matthews is a tough pill to swallow... _________________

| Yeah is it legal for us to just tap out and give up and try again next year??? It's not quite that bad, but this is getting super old. Perry, Sherrod, and Raji have all missed time this year and it looks like Matthews and Bulaga will as well, that would meen 5 out of our last 5 1st round picks missed time this season. Perry, Sherrod and Bulaga all look like IR candidates. Yikes.... |

Bad news for Green Bay. Hopefully for their sake Perry comes back next season better than ever. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

Not going to lie...I wanted Perry over Shea McClellin for the Bears. Should be noted that I wanted Chandler Jones before any of these guys. Figured that McClellin was a better fit for the 3-4 and Perry for the 4-3. While you can't really complain about either's production thus far for their respective teams I still believe the above to be true. Both have plenty of upside though. Only time will tell who turns out to be the better player. Rumor has it though that the Packers were very high on taking McClellin if he was available so maybe the Bears just took him to cheese them off. Phil Emery 1 - Ted Thompson 0.....hahah jk _________________
