I know it's too early to talk about this, but I enjoy some off-season chatter. I'm not sure if we'll be able to keep our staff together this year, mainly our offensive coordinator, Greg Roman. Last year there were reports of him being ready to bolt for Penn State, and there are a good amount of college schools that would want him. California could be one if Tedford is let go.
Who would you guys want to replace him? Do we promote within, or look at other teams?

To replace Roman, I think Geep Chryst is the guy. He's already involved in play design and play call (I think QB 9 was his baby, or was it Vernon Post).
If we lose Fangio, I think Jim Leavitt would be the next guy in line. But somehow, I think it's more likely we lose Leavitt to a college team. He's a great coach, and he's way overqualified for the LB coach job.
I think, though, that the second most likely coach to leave us is probably Brad Seely. And I have no idea who would replace him. Probably someone not on the staff right now.

Tomsula should get a life time contract. That guy is awesome. I've never seen the 49ers play harder then when he got to be a HC for one game. Keep the man happy cuz he's the kind of coach that we need.

Tomsula never struck me as an X and O type of guy, more of a technician and motivator. Does he have the Xs and Os? If he doesn't, he'd be a life-long position coach (even though he was a head coach in the NFL Europe.. but in the NFL E, motivation and technique was often way more important than strategy, in the NFL, all three are very important). If Seely leaves, I'd make Tomsula assistant head coach, along with his DL duties, and bump up his salary a little, in hope to keep him for a long time.
If Roman leaves and we promote Chryst, we wouldn't even be in a rush to replace him, seeing how both Chryst and Harbaugh act as a QB coach already. I'd bring in an assistant and ease him in.

Luckily Seely is our Assistant Head Coach, so he can only be interviewed for head coaching jobs. Not saying that means he won't interview anywhere, but it makes me feel better about him staying here.
