So I did this for the 1/4 mark of the season. Now that we are through 8 games, I figured that I would update it. (Note - Pro Football Reference only has Flacco starting 7/8 games this year. Anyone know why that is?)

7 starts? Yeah, I have no clue how they came up with that. Honest mistake, probably. _________________

Looking at the numbers, I really feel that we need to get Ray Rice involved in the passing game. His involvement has really slowed in the last 4 games. _________________

I think the biggest number decrease on this list is Torrey Smith. His numbers sharply decreased and along with it our entire offensive explosiveness took a shot. Everyone else's numbers have seen a slight decrease with Flacco's numbers being the most affected. When Smith finds more ways to get involved, defenses over commit his way, creating lanes for Pitta/Rice to be involved.
Boldin being our "#1" option just will never get it done. He's simply not good enough to impact the surrounding offense in the same manner as Smith. We've had to target Boldin more because Smith draws the best cover guys, but I think when he's got a guy on him that's not the best... We need to force it in there even if he's not completely open. He's our best WR. He's our #1 and we need to start doing more to get him involved in the offense and being productive. _________________

Maybe they're not fully convinced Flacco showed up vs the Texans, because I not _________________
