Apparently, it's been rumored that Whiz wouldn 't re-hire Todd Haley and relinquish full control over the offense to him and Whiz has not allowed Russ Grimm to have any say in the offense either, even though Grimm was supposedly led to believe that he would. My buddy then stated that quote "a lot of people think Russ wants out".
My buddy also stated point blank that Bidwill was, and I quote, "steaming on the inside" when he saw just how many fans were leaving the U of P early.
I tried calling him last night but it went straight to voicemail. Can only imagine this past Sunday's game didn't go over well either. |
Mikey is just like us. He cares and it kills ya a little inside when they lose. Mikey was on the verge of firing Ken last season as well until things turned around. I am not going to blame Ken myself for all the injuries the team has. |
If I thought injuries were playing a part in this I wouldn't blame Ken either. But I don't. The injuries we've suffered have little to do with our struggles, if anything at all. | I think they have to be taken into account. Skelton is garbage and Kolb is injured all the time. It's hard to win with no QB play. Only a solid team like the 49er's can get away with that. |
Kolb had injury concerns dating back to Philly. Whiz/Graves were fully aware of that. That's just as much on them as it is anything/anyone else. |
I'd rather they rolled the dice and went down swinging then never take a chance. Koilb seemed like a good idea and worth the risk at the time. They get trashed for the trade but at least they didn't sit back.
Also whoever says Ken cannot spot a good QB or a bad one. Don't forget, he passed on Blaine Gabbert and said the kid doesn't impress. Skelton as a 5th rounder is a better QB them him. So you win some and lose some. |
Bolded: I would agree with all of that. THAT SAID, when you roll the dice and crap out, that's on you. Nobody at the casino's gonna feel sorry for ya. _________________

Whiz said today that he is using the bye week to further evaluate both Nate Potter and Senio Kelemete. _________________

I think we know Nate starts from here to the end of the season barring injury. Senio is the exciting one for me. He played LT at Washington and I think he could be a heck of a LG in the NFL. Even if that is the hardest spot on the line to crack I would not be against giving him a shot. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

THREE rookies on the offensive line. Wouldn't that be something. _________________

Would you then move Colledge to RG and have Snyder as a backup swingman? |

Not sure. I might just put Colledge on the bench. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
