Awesome for Brandon.
Embarrassing for the Bears. |
At his current pace, Brandon will be #6 on the Bears all time WR reception list by the end of next year, and only ten off the #4 slot. |
Where are you getting these numbers from because at his current pace he would get 118 receptions which would put him at 42nd tied with Thomas Jones all-time. Single season is is all ready at 21st tied with Mike Ditka. _________________

2 seasons at 118 a piece = 236 receptions. Technically, it's not end of next year, because the season ends in January, but close enough. |

| Quote: | Johnny Knox - WR - Bears
Johnny Knox (back) is not expected to be activated off the PUP list by Tuesday's deadline.
Knox is slowly making progress from last December's surgery to repair fractured vertebrae. He's in the final year of his rookie contract, but a provision in the new CBA allows teams to retain the rights of their players that spend the entire year on PUP. Therefore, the Bears could bring Knox back next season for $1.26 million and give him a chance to prove his health. |

No it's my fault I read it as the end of this season. _________________

Safe to say we need to get Alshon back soon...
| Quote: | | Marshall (59 receptions, 797 yards, 7 TDs), who accounts for 57 percent of the Bears’ wide receiver receptions, 59 percent of the yards and 70 percent of the touchdowns. |
We really need to get that complimentary target back. |

I hope we don't rush him though...
No point making his injury one that plagues him for life if he is hit in the hand again for the sake of a game... _________________

The idea that he would be held out for precautionary reasons is ludacris. _________________

However, that is once it is fully healed. I think they are just wanting to make sure that it IS in fact fully healed before we get him back out there. _________________ Here's to hoping Emery is NOTHING like Angelo. |
