So Daniels is better than Routt? I mean, wasn't he lower on the depth chart than Routt... _________________

AWESOME! Not because I like the cut - but because it just continues to show the dysfunction! I mean seriously?!?!! Pioli tried a cheaper undercut move to Carr and this is what we get?! LMAO. _________________ In Andy We Trust!

There's no way he's worse than Daniels. Is this just to save money or something? To ensure that we will suck even more? (Is that even possible?)
Man, the fact that we didn't even try to resign Orton or Carr this offseason makes Pioli look like a total moron. 26 million in cap space, for what?
Is the relationship with Daniels and Crennel doing just fine or something?
Really wish Clark Hunt would see the direction this team has been heading, and is going to continue heading under Pioli.
Fire Pioli and his 2nd failed HC in Crennel. _________________

This is a complete embarrassment. We keep the one player that has obviously shown poor effort on multiple plays (Daniels) in several games and we cut really the only legitimate #2 we currently have on our roster (Routt)?
So Daniels was a cornerback earlier in his career - comes to KC and plays alot of safety - and is now being inserted as our #2 cornerback?
Maybe Javier Arenas is moving to our #2 cornerback spot? Either way, if anyone should not be on our roster it should be Daniels. _________________

Uh. Guys. Don't you remember how Routts contract is structured? We knew he was gone after 1 year anyway. I like this move A LOT. Obviously he wasn't fitting / gelling with our team and this will help us lose more games down the stretch.
Love it. _________________

In the grand scheme of moving forward - yes I agree. Still - this is embarrassing isn't it? I mean seriously.. relationship not progressing??!!? Consider the rest of the roster in that locker room looking at this move and thinking what the heck!? Those guys know who can play. They want teammates that can play! Routt is certainly no Brandon Carr (and I am sick to my stomach that he's not here instead of this debacle of events) but his teammates know the guy can play.
@Nicfre - Daniels played big CB for us till last year when forced to play some S and then this year playing it almost exclusively. He looked horrobly slow to react against a couple guys the Chargers had just signed :/ and considering him getting highlighted to weeks ago for not hustling - oh nevermind - we both know such logic doesn't reside at One Arrowhead Dr. _________________ In Andy We Trust!

Also, not to mention this SHOULD give Jalil Brown more snaps at DB, which is another big + in my opinion. He will get torched early and often, but this could seriously help his growth as a player, and we can evaluate him and see what we got. This kind of reminds me of Brandon Carr. Late draft pick who could eventually (after enough playing time) make himself a great player. _________________

| This makes ZERO sense. CB is now just as important to grab as QB IMO. This time last year we had the best young secondary in the league. Gone is Carr. Out of position is Berry. So entirely frustrated. Bring in Lake Dawson and get this clown outta here. |

Have to wonder if he means Routt or Crennel giving up DC responsibilities. _________________ In Andy We Trust!
