Another close game, another loss. Once again, just too many mistakes and not enough big plays.
Making the playoffs will be extremely difficult. Green Bay and Seattle hold the wild card spots right now with records of 6-3 and 5-4, respectively, but Seattle has the tiebreaker over Dallas giving them essentially a 2.5 game lead on Dallas.
Arizona, TB, and Minnesota are also ahead of the Boys in the standings.
The schedule gets a bit easier, but no game is gimme. _________________

We're done. We're not making the playoffs. I'd sincerely doubt that we'll even go 8-8 even though only one team left on our schedule has a winning record. _________________

Had someone told me we would hold the Falcons under 20 I would have expected us to win.

Good teams find a way to win the close games. Bad teams find a way to lose them.
Chin up though boys. 7-1 down the stretch and we are in the playoffs! _________________ Northland |

I couldn't say it in the last thread, you locked it. but our schedule IS a cake walk from here. its inarguable... not sure how you disagree. we play, what?.. 1 team with a winning record in the next 8 games? 7 losers, most at home... its a cakewalk.
I still think we screw it up though _________________

We need a new QB. That is the only reason I can find as to why Jason Garrett plays so safe with his playcalling. He doesn't trust Tony Romo, and I don't blame him.
Only problem is, who in this draft that is coming out is elite? _________________

Does everybody get that the difference between the falcons and cowboys is the the OL and coaching? _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

Well we can say this defense is no pushover. They aren't the same D that would just quit because of the offense's constant struggles. Instead of Dallas getting utterly embarrassed like it has in the past on national tv, the games are at least close. _________________

Because you were not reading what I was saying. Which is nothing new. |
In a nutshell you claimed the pressure was on the Giants because falling to 1-3 in the division was essentially a "death nail" for winning the division. Correct?
My rebuttal was if the Cowboys lost against the Gmen they fall to 3-4 and then have to travel to Atlanta and ending up 3-5. Now I'm seeing "season over" post which ratifies what I stated.
Even if the Giants had lost last week, plus the loss this week. They are 5-4 and still a game up on the Cowboys. I think it's obvious the game last week mattered more to the Cowboys playoff hopes then the Giants. _________________

Still 4 games against our division, which is always tough.
We win the next 3 games and maybe I'll have some more confidence but it's gonna have to take a lot to do that.
Garrett is fighting for his job now. _________________ PSN: BloodOps

Even if we lose to Philly (and that games a toss-up) we have Celevland and Washington after that. We can reasonably leave this small stretch at 5-6 which is at least rather manageable especially with our remaining sched. Its also not unrealistic we have a winning record in 3 games. Don't give up yet. _________________
