I'm guessing he gets about 700-800 more yards on the season.

So at 8,327, He'd be at #35 all time, right?

Loved the way Earl Thomas kept trying to tackle him and failed miserably. Then he get's him once, and does this over the top celebration, after the guy ran on him for 180+ yards. Laughing

He's still favouring his bad leg a little (it's better every week). Maybe after the bye week rest, it will be fully healed, and he'll trust it completely. Once he's back to trusting it 100%, he won't get caught from behind (side angle like he was at the end of his long run.

Do you think his production will go up once he's fully healthy?

At this point, I don't even know. He's already the most productive/best back in the league. Shocked

The scariest thing for opposing defenses is that Peterson continues to say he still is not back to 100 percent. It's a weekly question and one day maybe Peterson will say he's all the way back. But despite his success in recent weeks, he refused to say his recovery was complete.

Peterson: "I still can get stronger. I'm still not there man. I'm pressing to get there, so this bye week is going to be great for me, just all of the nicks I'll be able to recover (from) and I'm definitely going to be working during the bye week because it's not off for me. I'm going to come back stronger and better after the bye."

In Sunday’s win over the Lions, Peterson carried 27 times for 171 yards and a touchdown, becoming the first player in the NFL this season to top 1,000 yards. Peterson leads the league in rushing with 1,128 yards, and he’s on pace to gain 1,805 yards this season. That would be a career high, as would his current average of 5.8 yards per carry, and he’s also on pace for a career-high 46 catches this year. Statistically, Peterson is having his best season. The truly startling point is that Peterson is doing all this against defenses that are built to stop him.

AP should change his jersey number to 66 since he is such a beast!

There's really no QB or WR who's having a godly season so far so he does have a legit chance.

Outside of Peyton Manning. At this point, I suspect that Peyton will get MVP and Adrian could get Offensive Player of the Year.

Funny as both could win comeback player of the year as well.

They were talking about it on First Take this morning. I was excited to listen just out of curiosity then Skip said he'd take Doug Martin over AP and then I was reminded why I don't watch first take anymore.
