I don't know about that, depends on who all declares. I would say top 20 good, definitely. _________________

He is not top 10, maybe in a really poor draft
Top 20 for sure, top 15 borderline.
Pouncey's were top 15 players, Jones is close, but not quite there.
If we are top 10, then it is Jockel, picking same as we were last year, i could live with a reach for Jones, plug him in and dont worry about it for 10 - 15 years.
Super smart, work a holic player. |

I think Pouncey's a good comparison, even though I think Jones is a more athletic guy with more versatility.
Pouncey was a guy who I never though would be an All-Pro (Though he may be proving me wrong on that) but he'd give you solid, steady player for 10 years, he'd work his butt off every day and he's a model citizen off the field. That's Jones to a tee. _________________

How is someone a top 20 guy but not top 15? It just sounds too picky... If you want a guy then just take him. _________________

Cause he isnt going to go at number 10, though a top 15 player might.
He will go somewhere between 12 or 13 to 25, that is a top 20 player.
Top 15 goes somewhere between 8 - 17. |

So you'd take him at 12 but not 10 because he's a top 20 player? It seems like the # of spots is too big a deal at times... _________________

If i have him rated at say 17 overall on my board, then there are 16 better players available.
If we are picking at 12, then I might be tempted to go players 1 - 12 on my board first
That is the reason we took floyd. |
