Doctors expect Packers WR Greg Jennings to be sidelined about three weeks after he undergoes abdominal surgery Tuesday. |
not that bad then. jags, cards, then bye. |
The thing is though, how will he be after the surgery. I'd assume it would another few weeks just to get comfortable running routes again. Perhaps these types of injuries heal quickly though, which I don't know. _________________

very true. i think the biggest impact he'll make out there the first couple weeks back would be taking pressure off nelson and cobb. _________________

Anyone who has pulled a groin will say it's anything but a 'quick' heal. They are the most lingering, frustrating injury a person can get. I'm not sure if the surgery will bypass that, but I can't imagine it would. Usually if surgery is required, the meat is pulled right off the bone- not a good sign. _________________

Fear of re-injuring is a real thing. Years ago, I messed up my left leg in a freak break dancing incident... I never recovered mentally from it and I no longer "own" the dance floor at weddings and bar mitzvahs. |

He should probably stop running with king sized beds wrapped around him while he's healing. Just an idea. _________________

Wow, where are people getting this misinformation from.....It's not even groin surgery but actually abdominal surgery......Jennings wanted an opinion on what was thought to be a groin pull....When he went to see a specialist, it was discovered he had a tear in an abdominal muscle......Nothing to do with meat (muscle) being pulled from a bone.....Sounds more like you're thinking about tendon damage.....This isn't as serious as that.....More in line with a hernia

This is my beef too and I'm sure Greg must be less than thrilled. _________________
