any kind of moral victory. Any kind of positive note.
We have played a pretty tough schedule2nd or 3rd toughest SoS in the league to this point. And some tough defenses.
Not trying to pee down anyones neck and tell them its raining. Just grasping for anything.
Anyone else got anything??? _________________

We have 2 guys on pace for 10 sacks and 2 others for around 6.
We have a 100% kicker.
Luke Kuechly.
That's about it. |

Defense has shown great potential. With some right coaching we can be a top 10 unit.
We are going to have a great pick this year, definitely top 5 and possibly top 2. We can get a stud like Star L, or we can drop down a couple of spots, stock up on picks, and really help out the new GM for the next couple of drafts. _________________

This draft class is looking good so far. It's time to get Adams back in on another note. _________________

I'm looking for improvement from the young defensive players and Cam.

You just brought up another issue I have with Rivera. He doesn't improve the players he puts in the dog house. He fumbled twice in a game that every player played awful.
I don't know if Adams is dropping punts in practice but it's the only logical explanation. I just don't think Rivera is logical. He's a quiet Mike Singletary.
The dog house is meant to send a message with the end goal being that the players improve. |

I will say that I think the defense has legitimately been playing better, overall. Aside from the last few minutes against Chicago, they had a very good game (and were playing lights out in the first half). I was hoping for more from this team this year, even though they're still in rebuild mode. Despite that, it is nice to see some things getting better. Hopefully that trend continues. _________________

Pass rush has been the biggest thing to me.
For the defense as a whole, from a short-term perspective, I think we're a FS, health, and slightly better coaching from being top 8-12. _________________

Believe it or not, and I didnt! We are #9 in the league right now in total defense per ESPN. That's something, if we can continue the intense defense we played against the Bears we should be fine, I just want to go one game at a time. Let's beat the Redskins! _________________ "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood
