Is this a dream? We actually made a trade at the deadline for a decent player at a position we need it. Yeah this has to be a dream.
Also, I know really nothing about Talib, I know he's solid but would anyone say he's better than McCourty?

When his head is on straight (usually never), he's a top 10-15 CB in the NFL, IMO.

Well if recent trends show anything he should be fine for the first two years, then during year 3 something will go wrong. The signing of Martin looks a little better now, 2 more veterans added into the secondary.

His head might not be on right, but at least it's not lodged in his colon like Kyle Arrington's.
And frankly, I think the Pats need a guy with a bit of a mean streak in the secondary. Someone who'll work to get into receivers' heads.

This guy is a top 15 corner and when he's at his best level arguably a top 10. Good move. Finally a Big physical corner. We need to get rid of Moore or Arrington.
