seriously guys, the NFL News forum since its inception and by its definition is where football fans can come for meaningful discussion, not this pre-teen texting-like chitter chatter. that's why we have TAST and particularly its WAYTA thread.

The hilarity of any one trying to tell Chargers fans about how Kaeding may be better than their kicker..... If your team's kicker is truly worse than Kaeding, they would've been gone a long time ago. Sadly the Chargers were too stupid to get rid of Kaeding at minimum one year ago.

Just so we're clear, not counting the playoffs, Kaeding is the most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL. The issue is, he's had some major misses in the playoffs.

Anti-clutch doesn't even begin to describe him.
Historically good in the regular season, historically bad in the post season when the kicks meant more.
Kinda surprised it took this long TBH.

Had a teacher that roomed with him his freshman year at Iowa. Said the dude was kinda a richard. I didn't like that teacher so I always rooted for him. Sad day. |
it's not that he's missing, it's that he's missing horribly. i like mason as much as the next guy, but he's gotta improve. kicker probably has the least amount of job security in the nfl. i really didn't mean replace mason, just bring kaeding in for a tryout.
