Although he is #3 in punts downed inside the 20. _________________

Although he is #3 in punts downed inside the 20. | Yeah, that's going to happen when he kicks for the team that is the best in the NFL at avoid 3 and outs. At the very least, they're at least moving the ball a little bit down the field, so poor Zoltan hasn't had the opportunity to bomb very many kicks. He definitely wishes he had the last one against the Seahawks back, though. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

| Mesko has punted pretty well this year. Definitely a top 10 punter in the league. |

I hate Net Avg as a measurement for how good a punter is. Lechler I assume has only been as good as he's made out is as a result of punting from inside the Raider's own 30 most of his career.
Mesko is a decent pooch punter and never out kicks his coverage. Just what we want from our Punter.
Also has a case for most awesome name in the NFL. _________________

I would guess this is largely due to a lot of our failed drives fizzling around the opponents 50-40 yard line. |

Definitely agree.
When you have an awful offense and every punt is a game of "how far you can get it", it's going to give you a higher net average.
A much higher % of Mesko's kicks have been directional kicks purposefully kicked out of bounds to avoid touchbacks. _________________

Cundiff helped us win a big playoff game last year. He's just as valuable as Sterling Moore. _________________
