For what it's worth, Brady posted a 98.4 QBR for this game. 2nd best single game performance of the year behind Alex Smith in week 5. _________________

Stevan Ridley:
#1 in the NFL in first downs with 47; 10 more than any other RB.
#2 in rushes over 10 yards with 22, 1 behind both Frank Gore and Alfred Morris
31.3% of rushes have gone for 1st downs [2nd behind Frank Gore]
5 for 8 converting on 3rd and < 3.
Stuffed [no gain or loss] 16 times [t8th most in the NFL] _________________

Chandler had his best game as a pass rusher. Seemed like almost every time Bradford dropped back [except on 7-step drops and rollouts], he was right in his face.
Granted, Barksdale is hardly the greatest OT in the league. But Chandler absolutely dominated both him and Richardson. _________________

That's a tad concerning, but the fact that he can make up for it by being the 3rd leading rusher in the league, and a homerun hitter, makes me feel a lot better. _________________

I wouldn't say Ridley is anything like a homerun hitter. He's had many opportunities to pull off long TD runs, specifically against the Rams yesterday, and he's failed break one off. Ridley is more of a violent slasher/thumper/one cutter. A very good one at it... _________________

Bedard says the Pats only blitzed 20% of Rams passing plays, but they used zone exchanges on another 12.5%. So 32.5% of plays involved something other than the defensive lineman rushing. _________________ Shut up, NBT |
