I've never understood how weekly injury reports aren't HIPAA violations.
All anyone needs to really know is who is active or inactive on gameday, especially since Ed never missed a game or practice session. |

Soooo, if a player REALLY hates his team, all he has to do is claim he has an injury and then the team will get fined X amount of dollars?

$20,000 isn't exactly a punishing amount, I guess. Still kind of dumb to fine the Ravens at all though. I'd bet that about half the players in the league are carrying injuries that don't prevent them from practicing. You want all of those guys on the injury report every week, then? _________________

Interesting point.
And I agree, it's kind of weak considering that he's been practicing and played in the game. I would understand the issue if he was a last-minute surprise scratch from the game (as that's what is trying to be protected from). _________________
