Week Eight: Oh no
Your Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5)
@
The Green Bay Packers (4-3)
Matchups to Watch For:
There's really only two matchups that are going to be competitive in the game. One offense, we'll see Eugene Monroe take on Clay Matthews. On defense, we will see Derek Cox match up with someone on the Packers, probably Jordy Nelson. Maybe without Charles Woodson playing for the Packers, a wide receiver might have a decent day for us, but unless Gabbert plays, the odds of that will be virtually zero.
Key Questions for the Game:
Will Gabbert play?
Who breaks down and cries in the thread after we get torched?
Will Daryl Smith finally play?

Well Daryl Smith has been ruled out, but Julian Stanford apparently may take over the starting SLB for Bosworth. Kinda hoping to see him beast it up.
I really think our defense will rise towards the end of the season with the return of Daryl. Just sucks that we couldn't be healthy at the beginning of the season. I believe if we had started the seasons with Daryl Smith, Derek Cox, and hell even John Chick...we would be at minimum 3-3. _________________

Hopefully Cox, Jones, Mathis, Meester and Robinson can go. _________________

Just a heads-up (figured I'd post it in here, given that posting it in the "News" forum is likely just going to lead to a bunch of "Jags? In the playoffs? Yeah right." trolling that really isn't necessary):

The good news from this is that maybe the designation is a clue in to the realization of how much he means to the team, and that he will be resigned.
Maybe? _________________

Looks like he'll be able to play week 16 and 17, if he's ready. _________________

hey guys! good luck sunday, i'm praying for no injuries as both our teams are basically decimated. guess i'm not expecting this to be...close, but if my 2nd favorite QB (blaine gabbert) plays (no joke, i really love BG) then it'll be a little better.
will be interesting to see how the packers do, basically HAVING to run the ball, against a team that's not great against the run. jennings, nelson, and finley may all not play. jennings won't for sure, nelson pulled a hamstring or something in practice. finley is only able to do a couple sideline routes or something they said. so basically ALEX GREEN has to carry the load. or maybe donald driver can manage to play more than 6 or so snaps without getting injured?
yeah so...where's ahman green when ya need him? _________________ GREEN BAY PACKERS

Hopefully your D makes Blaine look like Aaron.
But seriously, this game is gonna be like 76-7. _________________
